If I have the least bit of knowledge,
I will follow the great Way alone,
and fear nothing but being sidetracked.
The great Way is simple,
but people delight in complexity.
The government is corrupt.
The fields are overgrown.
The granaries are empty.
Yet some wear fine clothes, carry sharp swords,
gorge on food and drink, and are surrounded by luxury.
They are thieves.
This is certainly not the great Way.
